Dr. Yung-Chieh Huang is a UK-trained Counselling Psychologist with extensive experience supporting adults through a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. She has worked across the NHS, private hospital settings, corporate mental health, university mental health services, addiction recovery, and trauma-focused services in the UK.
Dr. Chieh adopts an integrative approach, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, psychodynamic, systemic and narrative therapies, and EMDR.
Her counselling approach is personalised, evidence-based, compassionate, and collaborative. She creates a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences and gain deeper insight into themselves. She listens closely for connections between seemingly unrelated thoughts, experiences and patterns, helping clients see their difficulties from new perspectives and make meaningful change.
Dr Chieh's practice is grounded in the ethical standards of her professional and regulatory bodies, with a strong commitment to confidentiality, boundaries, respect, and the dignity and autonomy of each person.

Dr Chieh is CDA-licensed in Dubai. In the UK, she is HCPC Registered, a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), a BPS Psychology Practice Supervisor, and a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She is also a Registered EuroPsy Psychologist.
