Mrs. Suhaila holds a master’s degree of Science (MSc) in Psychology specializing in Test Anxiety and Cognitive Abilities from the University of Glasgow in Scotland, a diploma in Crisis Counselling from the Institute of Counselling in Glasgow, United Kingdom. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at the California Southern University, US.
Mrs. Suhaila has experience as a psychotherapist and she uses a person-centered treatment approach to help her clients and an eclectic background from training in multiple psychotherapy approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Eyes Movement Desensitization, and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, and CBT. Ms. Suhaila is very skilled and passionate about helping people to find the best options and solutions in dealing with the issues in their lives.
Mrs.Suhaila has been granted the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) by the British Psychological Society (MBPsS). Mrs.Suhaila is a qualified Mental Health Trainer and Facilitator™ (MHF™) by the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc (NBCC), United States, and a member of the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).
